Crossing GuardQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentAbility to work effectively with othersAbility to perform duties within assigned time framesSuch alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptableReports To:Building PrincipalSupervises:No supervision of other personnelJob Goal:Assure safety of students in route to school or homeCrossing Guard 1.5 hours/day (8:30-9:15 am and 3:30-4:15 pm)Performance Responsibilities:Ensure that each student safely crosses the street.Positively communicate with students and parents in giving directions.All other duties related to job as assigned by the principal.Terms of Employment: 187 days per school yearEvaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy in relation to the evaluation of classified personnel.FLSA: Non-ExemptClearances: Non-Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance
