Cybersecurity Washington, D.C. Remote
A growing cybersecurity vendor is looking for an experienced Federal & Government Account Executive to expand its US public-sector business.
The company provides advanced threat intelligence, dark-web visibility and external attack-surface management technology. Its platform enables government and security teams to identify adversaries, uncover external exposures and take action before threats develop into attacks.
The role:
• Develop new business across federal civilian agencies, DoD and the Intelligence Community
• Own complex government opportunities from initial engagement through contract award
• Build relationships with agency decision-makers, contracting officers and technical stakeholders
• Develop partnerships with federal systems integrators and prime contractors
• Navigate government procurement frameworks and contracting vehicles
• Lead demonstrations, evaluations and commercial negotiations alongside technical teams
• Build and maintain an accurate federal pipeline
• Represent the company at government and cybersecurity events
Requirements:
• Proven cybersecurity sales experience within the US federal market
• Established relationships across federal agencies and government partners
• Strong understanding of federal procurement and contracting processes
• Experience with GSA, SEWP, ITES, OTAs or similar vehicles
• Track record of closing complex, multi-year public-sector deals
• Ability to generate pipeline and develop new agency relationships
• Experience selling threat intelligence, dark-web intelligence, EASM, digital-risk protection or adjacent solutions
