Summary
Overview
We are seeking a Ground Operations Specialist II or III to support the final preparation, integration, launch, landing, and recovery of spacecraft hardware. This individual will play a critical role in transitioning spacecraft from production and testing into flight-ready vehicles by executing processing activities, developing operational procedures, coordinating launch campaigns, and supporting launch site operations.
Responsibilities
- Support spacecraft processing, testing, integration, and launch operations
- Execute technical procedures and operational activities in controlled environments
- Assist with launch vehicle integration and payload processing
- Develop and improve operational procedures, work instructions, and documentation
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in spacecraft operations, launch operations, aircraft maintenance, integration, or aerospace operations
- Experience supporting launch campaigns or preparing complex vehicles for deployment
- Ability to lead processing activities and coordinate cross-functional teams
- Experience resolving issues in mission-critical operational environments
Duration: 6-12 months (with probably extensions)
Compensation: $50-70/hour (depending on years of experience)
