Job DescriptionSummary:
The purpose of this position is to supervise the maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, and setting / supervising of schedules. This is accomplished by knowledge and use of Computer Maintenance Management System, Building Energy Management Systems, receiving and prioritizing customer requests and work projects, arranging for special services, coordinating repairs with technician and vendors, planning improvement projects, reviewing data, developing reports, and monitoring asset conditions. Other duties include developing maintenance projections, responding to repair requests, and working with other departments. Professional level interpersonal communication skills are required for this position along with the ability to provide construction management for building related projects. This is accomplished by having the knowledge, experience and technical background required to perform these tasks with minimal outside assistance or direction. This position will be subject to obtaining a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) security classification. Will be required to work scheduled shift during Snow and Ice events performing various tasks as trained.
This position is designated as an Essential Employee and is responsible for duties that support public safety, the protection of property, and the continuity of critical business operations. As a condition of employment, incumbents may be required to work day, evening, overnight, weekend, holiday, and emergency shifts to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of essential services.
Midpoint: $76,440/annually
Retention Bonus: $2,000

Responsibilities:
- Completes administrative tasks by entering data in systems, scheduling projects, tasks, and preventive maintenance, scheduling and assigning tasks, monitoring performance, resolving questions and issues, determining parts, equipment and supplies for projects, selecting vendors and supplies, creating, and presenting reports, ordering parts and equipment, and recommending solutions to maintenance issues.
- Completes training and safety activities by evaluating skills and technical levels, scheduling, and assigning training, procuring vendors, ensuring safety guidelines are followed, and ensuring minimum safety training is accomplished.
- Monitors equipment purchases and usage by ensuring tools are assigned, monitoring inventories, and identifying and recommending new purchases.
- Supervises technical maintenance by troubleshooting and repairing buildings and equipment, diagnosing problems, investigating alternative equipment, identifying inventoried parts, and ensuring all equipment meets standards.
- Required to respond to emails and phone calls received outside of normal business hours as necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum:
- Associate’s degree
- Appropriate certifications awarded upon satisfactory completion of advanced study or training.
- 5 - 7 years’ experience
Preferred:
- Valid Commercial driver's license
- HVAC certification
