Description OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) Region Build Organization is currently in need of a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our fast-growing team. Technical Program Managers (TPM) rely on their mastery of data and business to understand and anticipate business requirements, initiate programs, track progress, and manage any issues that arise during and after the program completion. As an ideal candidate you possess sufficient technical expertise to communicate business requirements in technical vernacular to engineers and help resolve business blockers. Additionally, TPMs track technical issues, effectively communicate project status, recommend changes, decide tradeoffs for competing priorities, demonstrate deliver now and iterate and deep understanding on the Cloud physical infrastructure (including Datacenter, networking and circuits). They define strategies, regularly participate in executive meetings to present their progress, and share project information with stakeholders. A successful candidate will be well versed in what it takes to drive business growth through data for a cloud organization. Responsibilities Leads defining scope, creating roadmaps, planning, scheduling, resource allocation, risk mitigation, stakeholder management, and status communication for owned programs. Aligns with and gains sponsorship from multiple stakeholders to ensure successful execution of owned programs. Provides complete transparency of progress versus plan for programs owned, including regular status reporting to senior management. Assists in establishing scalable frameworks (process, tools, etc.) for the end-to-end program and manages stakeholders applying project management standards and documentation best practices. Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvements and provides recommendations to Program team leadership. Fosters cross-functional teamwork and promotes collaboration, coordination, and consistent communication among stakeholders. Starts to build trusted relationships with partner teams, both internal and external, to understand work priorities and ensures alignment. Assists in the development of organizational change management plans in partnership with all relevant stakeholders. Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years combined experience with project management, data analysis and direct business experience within a specialized function. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management or related field. PMP / Scrum Master certification. Proven ability to work cross-functionally with functional and technical teams. Experience with building and managing reporting tools to support Programs; such as scorecards and KPI metrics to further drive insights around our program strategy. Demonstrated ability to balance quantitative and qualitative metrics to provide a holistic viewpoint. Expert level experience with Excel, creating dynamic pivot reports and data visualization. Ability to influence through data visualization and interpretation. Must be self-directed and able to work independently as well as in a team environment. Must be comfortable working in ambiguous situations. Excellent interpersonal skills. Depending on the job there may be additional minimum requirements and/or preferred qualifications.Job Description
