MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Analytics & Data Science Lead to join our team in Doral, FL . Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Leading the design, development, and deployment of advanced statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization tools to solve complex operational challenges. Overseeing data science projects across the entire life cycle, including requirement gathering, data extraction, feature engineering, model training, and performance monitoring. Collaborating with cross-functional technical teams, data engineers, and stakeholders to translate complex data insights into strategic, data-driven decisions. Establishing best practices for data governance, model validation, and reproducible analytic workflows across all data environments. Managing individual analytic tasks and mentoring team members to ensure technical delivery aligns with customer objectives. Recommending and implementing process improvements, automated pipelines, and emerging data science technologies to enhance operational efficiency. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field with 7 years of experience in advanced analytics or data science roles. OR a PhD and 3 or more years of relevant experience OR a master’s degree and 5 or more years of relevant experience OR an associate’s degree and 9 or more years of relevant experience OR a high school diploma and 11 or more years of relevant experience Demonstrated proficiency with standard data analysis tools, languages, and frameworks such as Python, R, and SQL. Experience creating, maintaining, and communicating complex technical documentation, analytical findings, and executive presentations to stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a quantitative discipline. Prior experience supporting U.S. Military Command operations or Department of Defense enterprise data environments. Hands-on knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies. Experience with MLOps frameworks, DevSecOps pipelines, and deploying AI/ML models into production environments. Clearance Requirements: Must hold a current/active Secret security clearance. Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%. Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
