Summary
EGS is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Superintendent in Oak Ridge, TN or Aiken, SC. These are long term contract positions with top competitive rates and great benefits. Must be US Citizen.
We are looking for a proven construction leader with recent UPF (Uranium Processing Facility) experience or closely related DOE/nuclear megaproject experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day field construction activities and subcontractors.
- Direct craft supervision and coordinate multiple construction disciplines.
- Manage construction sequencing, productivity, manpower, and schedule performance.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Safety, Project Controls, and Project Management.
- Resolve field issues, RFIs, constructability concerns, and design conflicts.
- Ensure construction complies with project specifications, procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.
- Support inspections, testing, turnover, punch-list, and project completion activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field and a minimum 4 years relevant superintendent experience in the construction industry.
- Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access).
- Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control and project management software is preferred.
