Summary

BEST Crowd Management is seeking professional, dependable, and vigilant Overnight Security Officers to support the security operations at Ryan Field. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment during overnight hours by conducting patrols, monitoring property access, responding to incidents, and protecting client assets.

This role is ideal for individuals with strong observation skills, sound judgment, and a commitment to safety and security.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols of Ryan Field and surrounding designated areas.
  • Monitor and control access points to ensure only authorized personnel enter the property.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, emergencies, and suspicious activity.
  • Complete detailed and accurate incident reports, activity logs, and shift documentation.
  • Inspect facilities, gates, doors, and equipment to identify and report security or safety concerns.
  • Enforce site policies, procedures, and security protocols.
  • Maintain communication with supervisors, site management, and local emergency responders as needed.
  • Assist with securing the facility before, during, and after events.
  • Provide a visible security presence to deter theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other unauthorized activities.
  • Perform other security-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Valid Illinois PERC Card Required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous security, law enforcement, military, or related experience preferred.
  • Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.
  • Strong communication and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to remain alert and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
  • Ability to walk, stand, climb stairs, and perform patrols for extended periods.
  • Must be dependable, professional, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to pass all required background screening and onboarding requirements.
