Lead Administrative Support Assistant (MCHR) Annual Salary Range: $39,500

What you will do: • Type, file, copy, and scan documents.
• Respond to telephone calls from the public.
• Interview callers to determine if MCHR has jurisdiction and enter information into a project in a case tracking system for intake staff.
• Read and interpret Chapter 213 on the Missouri Human Rights Act so that you can accurately open and close digital case files for MCHR and dual-filed cases with the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission.
• Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Handle the MCHR Intake inbox by determining if MCHR has jurisdiction, assigning inquiries, questionnaires and signed charges out to human rights officers for intake processing.
• Enter file data into the records database and prepare files for transport to state archives.
• Answers questions and provides guidance to other administrative support staff.
• Work independently within the scope of assigned duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
All you need for success: Minimum Qualifications - 3-5 years of relevant experience (Substitutions may be allowed.)
Preferred Qualifications - Comprehensive knowledge of grammar, composition, spelling, and math.
- Ability to develop and use coding and filing systems.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships and conduct duties with courtesy and respect.
- Ability to accept and implement feedback with a positive attitude and constructively support open communication, dedication, and compassion.
- Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance: Monday - Friday from 8am to 5pm.
