DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Oversees the daily operations and personnel a customer service section. Provides technical and supervisory training and development programs. Manages the design, development, and implementation of technical training and supervisory and management development programs. Responds to written and telephone inquiries from customers. Manages and supervises daily major department function; establish goals and evaluates section performance. Trains, develops, counsels, monitors attendance, productivity and evaluates staff performance. May act as a liaison to other departments, government agencies and the private sector. Makes recommendations regarding hiring, terminations and disciplinary actions. Researches, reviews and evaluates new data, reports, products and other information. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Subject to being on call during emergency situations.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The position is physically comfortable most of the time with occasional periods of stooping, bending and/or light lifting of materials up to 10 lbs. The individual may have to sit for long periods of time has some discretion about walking, standing, etc.
This is an Administration and Regulatory Affairs management position at the Tier 1 Level.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Requires a high school diploma or a GED.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Five years of administrative or customer service related experience are required.
Substitutions: Associate's degree may be substituted for up to two years of experience. Bachelor's degree may be substituted for up to four years of experience.
PREFERENCESPreference will be given to applicants with the ability to work independently with little supervision. Must possess superior oral and written communication skills and strong organization and time management abilities.
