    Salary Level: $91,592 - $126,805 DOE

    Union/Days per year: Classified Exempt; 260 workdays; 12-month

    SUMMARY

    This position supports the District’s Innovative Learning and Jobs 253 initiatives by coordinating programs, analyzing data, and facilitating communication between administrators, staff, and external partners. Assists with research, project implementation, and stakeholder engagement to advance innovative education practices. Ensures compliance with district, state, and federal policies while promoting high-quality customer service and continuous improvement.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    Provides excellent customer service with efficient and effective assistance on behalf of the District Innovative Learning programs; coordinates processes and activities with administrators; collects, analyzes, presents and communicates data/research to administrator;consults with other staff as necessary to coordinate a variety of district programs aligned to innovation and Jobs 253 work based learning experiences. As directed, may conduct research of innovative learning opportunities; team to maintain, monitor data; uses information to assist administration with increased communication and partners to prepare and compile a variety of correspondence and reports. Assists the administrators in collaboration with department staff to research a variety of learning systems and practices that support administrations project management and implementation of innovative programming. Creates communication materials and presentations to support communication of innovative programming advancements.

    Collaborates as liaison between stakeholders and the district in the areas of industry, career development, and innovative learning to ensure effective and efficient processes are being utilized. Collaborative develops partnership agreements and continuously improve procedures for innovative programming; works together with a variety of department staff to resolve problems; promotes a high-quality customer service environment; assists other staff during peak periods. Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR, federal, and state. requirements, upholds District policy (e.g., assists in reinforcement of affirmative action), and remains current on labor legislation. Communicates with department staff and administrators about changes in regulations at the federal and state level.

    OTHER JOB DUTIES

    Maintains and updates knowledge and skills required for success in the position by participating in professional development activities, as needed, or as assigned; maintains awareness of current events tied to education and market knowledge of the assignment. Directs, manages, and participates in a variety of special projects, as assigned; performs related duties, as assigned. Collaborates with and provides assistance to other department staff. Regular, reliable, predictable attendance or physical presence is an essential job requirement and critical to the performance of the work.

    CONDITIONS

    Office environment; experiences frequent interruptions; occasionally required towork with difficult and sensitive situations and/or people; required to travel to District and community sites; may be required to work outside of regular office hours, including nights and weekends, as needed; may be required to lift and carry up to 20 pounds, bend, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, walk, twist, climb, and/or be mobile

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    Education and Experience

    Bachelor degree in Business, or closely related field from an accredited college or university; four years of increasingly responsible office experience; work experience in a school district in a confidential role, preferred; communication experience, preferred; or any combination of experience and training which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and ability required to perform the work.

    Licenses/Special Requirements

    Valid Washington State driver’s license.

    Fingerprints and successful WSP and FBI background clearance/sexual misconduct clearance.

    Knowledge of practices and procedures relating to innovative learning.

    Knowledge of education structure and relevant issues.

    Knowledge of correct grammar, spelling, and English usage.

    Skill in obtaining, clarifying, and exchanging information.

    Skill in data collection and conversion, report preparation, and record keeping.

    Skill in effective analysis and problem solving.

    Skill in providing high quality customer service.
