Salary: $24,912 - 28 hours per week

Why you’ll love this position: Missouri Assistive Technology (MoAT), the federally funded Assistive Technology Act Program for Missouri, operates within the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. MoAT is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Assistant to provide essential administrative support for programs and initiatives that increase access to assistive technology (AT) for individuals with disabilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient office operations and supporting the work of MoAT staff.
- Provide administrative and clerical support in partnership with the lead Administrative Assistant and program staff, including preparing correspondence, processing applications, and maintaining organized records.
- Assist with procurement activities by preparing purchase requests, processing invoices, tracking orders, and maintaining related documentation.
- Support financial recordkeeping by entering data, reconciling transactions, and assisting in preparing routine budget and expenditure reports.
- Assist with inventory tracking for assistive technology devices and equipment, including logging items, verifying functionality, and updating inventory databases.
- Maintain and update program data systems, ensuring accuracy for reporting and compliance purposes.
- Provide day-to-day support for programs and services, including the Telecommunications Access Program, Show-Me Loans Program, device reuse, and information and assistance activities.
- Assist in preparing materials for Council meetings, annual conferences, trainings, and other events, including ensuring availability in accessible formats.
- Respond to inquiries from the public, stakeholders, and program participants, providing accurate information or directing them to the appropriate staff member.

- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director, Assistant Director, and/or Program Coordinators.
- Demonstrate regular, reliable, and engaged attendance.
Minimum Qualifications: - Graduation from high school or high school equivalency through which knowledge of English grammar and punctuation, basic typing or keyboarding, and basic mathematics may have been acquired.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in administrative support services, preferably with a disability-related organization.
