Job Description
The Family Support Division (FSD) is seeking applications for a Benefit Program Technician. This position will be located in the Mound City Resource Center based at 1423 State St., Mound City, MO. Possible light travel to provide coverage to another Resource Center location.
As our Benefit Program Technician you will determine eligibility and help Missouri citizens to receive food, medical, financial and nutritional assistance so they can live safe, healthy and productive lives.
Every day you will determine initial and continuing eligibility of Missouri citizens for these services, interview clients in person and by telephone, prepare summaries and much more.
In order to succeed in this role, you must have at least 4 years of Customer Service experience or have a Bachelor’s Degree.
To thrive in this role, you must be personable, compassionate, have a non-judgmental attitude, good computer skills, and able to handle multiple computer systems.
Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.
Individual(s) selected for this position may receive a higher rate based on a pay differential (e.g. shift, or time-of-service pay).
