As the Sexual Assault Forensic Exams via Telehealth (SAFEvT) Program Specialist, you will be an integral member of the team implementing the SAFEvT Program across Missouri. This includes working with contractors, partner organizations, and colleagues across the state. The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.
- Work with the Office on Women’s Health team to implement SAFEvT and other related programs by developing procedures, practices, and work plans.
- Develop and implement a data collection process for contractors and hospitals in Missouri.
- Assist in preparing the annual report, data dissemination plan, and grant applications.
- Monitor contractors' performance to ensure the successful implementation of the SAFEvT Program.
- Assist in writing rules and regulations to ensure the successful implementation of the SAFEvT Program
- Implement special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years or more years of professional experience in public health, mental health, education, social services, public or business administration, health care, or a closely related field. (Relevant experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for any deficiencies in the required education.)
- Expertise in working with diverse populations and stakeholders on complex subject matter.
- Possesses strong communication and organization skills.
- Experience using technology and a variety of computer programs (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, video-conferencing, and online survey platforms) for coordinating activities and project reporting.
- Experience in contract monitoring, developing contract deliverables, reviewing and preparing bid documents, budget development and budget tracking is preferred.
- Some travel will be required for conferences, trainings, and/or program oversight.
