Legal Assistant - General Counsel's Office - Contracts/Personnel Department of Revenue DOR VISION: To establish an environment that fosters confidence and trust by successfully utilizing technology, employing resources, and meeting customer needs HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION: This position provides administrative support for the attorneys in the Contracts/Personnel section of the General Counsel's Office. The position is responsible for assisting attorney's processing department contracts and memorandum of understandings, sunshine law requests, subpoenas, candidate affidavit filings and providing general legal administrative support. The individual will be responsible for maintaining cases and records in the Case Tracker System as well as processing the candidate affidavit's electronic filings. This position also serves as a backup for other legal areas of the office as well as ordering supplies.

- Enter and track documents through the Case Tracker and Concord
- Process and monitor the department's response for contracts, sunshine law requests, subpoenas and other legal document inquiries to ensure compliance with deadlines
- Other duties as assigned including handling phone calls and processing mail
