Fulton State Hospital is seeking a Risk Manager (Quality Improvement Manager) to oversee the process for abuse/neglect, misconduct, and other employee and facility related cases; supervise the three Reviewers, plus an Administrative Assistant; coordinate staff being placed on modified duty due to reviews being conducted; oversee, coordinate, and track plans of actions for based on findings of reviews & investigations; coordinate with law enforcement agencies; organize and manage storage of videos from cases and technique reviews; and track serious assault related injuries to clients and staff.
Additionally, the Risk Manager oversees proactive risk management strategies such as managing and overseeing the implementation of Trauma Informed initiatives and activities throughout FSH. This includes overseeing initiatives, implementing data collection related to TIC, coordinating training, co-coordinating ASAP, overseeing staff wellness and resilience efforts, and ensuring policy and practice incorporates TIC principles throughout FSH. Also, as a part of system risk management, the Risk Manager co-chairs efforts related to SMART and the oversight and direction of SMART within FSH and across the state.
This position also oversees Interpreting Services at FSH.
Employee supervision includes hire recommendations, training, planning and assigning work, performance assessment, coaching, and progressive discipline.
Minimum Qualifications: - Master's degree
- Four (4) or more years of relevant experience including one (1)- two (2) years of supervisory experience
- Must meet State of Missouri minimum qualifications
Preferred Qualifications: - Licensed clinical profession- Social Worker, Registered Nurse, or Psychologist
- Master's degree preferred
