    Staff Development Training Manager

    for St. Louis Developmental Disabilities Treatment Centers

    Expected Salary: $2,990.29 semi-monthly or $71,766.96 annually

    St. Louis Developmental Disabilities Treatment Centers (SLDDTC) is currently recruiting to fill a Staff Development Training Manager position, which requires travel between South County Habilitation Center and St. Charles Habilitation Center.The selected applicant will need to be available from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and be available to work a flexible work schedule as needed to train on all three shifts or other locations. The regular work schedule will be Monday through Friday with Saturday/Sunday/Holidays off.

    What you’ll do:

    This is a training and development supervisor/manager position responsible for coordinating and developing policies and administrative procedures related to the operation of a training program. The employee will provide oversight and daily supervision, direction, and delegation of work to training instructors who are assigned to specialized training duty. Employee may also participate in training design and instruction and is accountable for the work performance of training staff and compliance with established objectives. Supervision of staff includes making hiring recommendations; providing training; planning and reviewing assignments, assessing performance, coaching, and progressive discipline. Supervision at this level also requires the employee to have the knowledge and skills to perform and review the work overseen.

    Eligibility:

    1. A Bachelor’s degree AND at least five to seven years of relevant experience (substitutions may be allowed).

    2. Must have 1-2 years of Supervisory experience.

    3. Must be very proficient with Microsoft and other computer programs.

    4. Must be highly self-motivated, organized, and possess the ability to prioritize workload.
