Registered Nurse (NU00014)
Semi-monthly salary is $3,400.55.
Northwest Community Services is recruiting for a Registered Nurse, to be a part of a highly effective team that supports over 500 employees, that makes a difference in the lives of adults with developmental disabilities. NWCS is a state operated program within the Department of Mental Health and supports 130+ individuals receiving 24/7 residential services in their own homes across four counties. This position will be domiciled in Higginsville.
The Registered Nurse must be detailed orientated, work well with others, have good time management skills, possess leadership skills, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Excel and other computer programs and willing to travel.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will oversee nursing practices in the Higginsville, Warrensburg, and Independence areas. Will supervise LPNs and be in a rotation on on-call.
SCHEDULE:
Work schedule will be 8:00 am - 4:30 pm with Saturdays and Sundays as days off, rotating on call
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:- A valid driver's license
- GED/HS Diploma
- Possession of a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Missouri or in accordance with Missouri's Nurse Licensure Compact.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Knowledge of the processes and procedures applicable to assigned area.
- Ability to organize work assignments.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide supervision and guidance to other employees/nursing staff. (A recent graduate of an accredited nursing program may practice as a graduate nurse until results of first licensure examination are received or until 90 days after graduation, whichever occurs first.)
