Job Location:This position is domiciled at the Albany Satellite Regional Office, 809 North 13th, Albany, MO 64402.
Role Description:Responsible for provider development to enhance the capacity for the provision of supports and services. Provide technical assistance to providers and monitoring to ensure the quality-of-service delivery to individuals.
What you’ll do: - Develops and/or reviews quality assurance reports regarding abuse/neglect, events, complaints, monitoring activities and provider performance quarterly.
- Collects and enters information into databases used to allow for the identification and trending of potential provider issues and ensure consumer safety and quality of care. Ensures information is input within required timelines.
- Assesses and assures data integrity within the various databases used.
- Organizes, analyzes, interprets, and presents data to Division/Regional Office staff, stakeholders, and other groups as appropriate to the issue, in a manner that reflects the audience.
- Track CATS issues, assuring pertinent information and resolution.
- Participation and feedback reflect analysis of the data and/or issue, experience, and research for best/promising practice.
- Assures consistency among staff in daily practice.
- Maintain effective professional working relationships with consumers, families, providers, coworkers, and other agencies.
- Coordinate and monitor training needs identified by individuals, providers, and Regional Office Staff.
- Participate in provider training related to quality assurance.
- Provide technical assistance to contracted agencies for development/maintenance of internal QA processes.
- Conducts consumer interviews for NCI initiative.
- Facilitate collection of provider data for NCI initiative.
- Monitor providers using designated processes and instruments within prescribed timelines.
- Lead the Quality Programs Specialist team. Supervisory duties include but not limited to: review, submit, and approve all timesheets by established deadlines; accountable for hiring, developing and promoting qualified individuals through defined department processes; meet with team members monthly and record meetings in Engage tracking system; document performance throughout the year and address situations that need to be addressed in a timely fashion; foster an open environment for the exchange of ideas by being open to differing opinions and ideas; make timely and consistent decisions and communicate those to staff in a clear manner; use goal setting with employee as part of the process; promote input from employees; meet at least monthly with RO QPS team.
- Resolve conflict effectively and efficiently.
- Participates in monthly statewide QPS Unit meetings.
Typical Qualifications:Four or more years of experience in the following areas: Management, supervision, gathering, analyzing, and presenting data.
- Ability to demonstrate management skills including supervision.
- Experience inputting data in excel and other data programs such as Tableau.
- Experience analyzing data and making recommendations.
- Experience in developing data reports and presenting data to large groups in a clear and concise manner.
Preferred Qualifications:Training, certification, and/or education in continuous process improvement programs such as Lean Six Sigma as well as completion of Missouri Way, Leadership Academy, or similar programs is preferred.
