    Job Location: This position can be domiciled within any DMH Regional Office State-wide. Occasional travel is an expectation.

As a member of the Department of Mental Health you will contribute to Division initiatives.

    • Monitor the Resource & Referral statewide email inbox and phone on a rotating basis.
    • Assist individuals with developmental disabilities with Medicaid applications.
    • Collaborate with Resource & Referral team on maintaining an information/resource library to connect individuals and families to local supports in their area.
    • Understand government benefits such as SSI, Ticket-to-Work, and how those programs work and interact.
    • Implement guardianship processes for both DD and DBH, track data, and provide informational trainings on alternatives to guardianship
    • Collaborate with the Resource & Referral team to ensure the Guideline 32 process is implemented
    • Provide content for trainings related to Division and other services, targeted to families but available for others


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or Registered Nurse license and 2 years of relevant experience [which includes, but is not limited to, fulfilling the role of Support Coordinator, Support Coordinator III, or Support Coordinator Supervisor (or comparable roles within contracted TCM entities)].


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Working knowledge of the Medicaid Application System
    • Understanding of how the various state and federal benefit systems operate and interact
    • Understanding of the DMH Guardianship process
    • Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Excel, Webex, Microsoft Teams, and Power-Point
    • Experience developing and presenting trainings
    • Ability to present information to large groups virtually and in-person
