Webster City is a beautiful city located along the Boone River, county seat of Hamilton County, located in north central Iowa.
Webster City is located 10 miles from 1-35, and Highway 20 runs just South of the city. Webster City has a Council - Manager form of government.
Webster City is a farming community; we also have several large industries. The largest is Frigidaire Company, who makes washers and dryers and employ over 1,500 people.
Webster City has established a new housing area called Brewer Creek Estates, with many fine homes being built, other new homes in the city are also being built.
Webster City produced several authors, Including two Pulitzer prize winners: Clark Mollenhoff and MacKinlay Kantor.
