RCOC maintains 2,600 miles of county roads, over 310 miles of state highways and more than 1,200 county, city and state traffic signals in Oakland County. We're also leading the way in developing "smart" traffic signals -- our FAST-TRAC system -- that employ state-of-the-art computer and communications technologies to improve traffic flow, decrease travel time, enhance safety and reduce the vehicle tailpipe emissions that are characteristic of stop-and-go driving.
