Office of Congressional Workplace Rights

Employer Description

The Office of Congressional Workplace Rights (OCWR) was established by the Congressional Accountability Act of 1995 (CAA), which requires Congress and other legislative branch entities to adhere to many of the same employment, labor, and workplace safety laws that apply to the private sector and the executive branch of the federal government. OCWR is responsible for administering and enforcing the CAA, including managing the administrative dispute resolution (ADR) process through which legislative branch employees file claims alleging violations of the CAA.
