About The Children’s Trust The Children's Trust (“The Trust”) is a local governmental entity with its own dedicated source of revenue. The Trust was established by voter referendum in 2008, and reauthorized in 2013, to improve the lives of children and families in Miami-Dade County. The Trust remains committed to collaboration, accountability and results with its community partners and funded providers. We do this by competitively soliciting and competitively awarding funding to programs that offer the highest possible quality services, with the goals of implementing best practices and improving the lives of children and families in our community.
