    Performs professional outreach work as directed by the Economic Development Department. Serves as a key point of contact for Downtown Orlando businesses and community members seeking information and resources. Responsibilities include developing and implementing outreach initiatives to foster strong connections, overseeing the day-to-day operations of Downtown Orlando's visitor information center and retail store, and developing and executing special projects and programs to engage with the local community, and supervising staff . Work is performed independently and reviewed by the Downtown Development Board/Community Redevelopment Agency's (DDB/CRA) Marketing & Communications Manager through regular meetings and communication. Must periodically work evening hours, weekends, and holidays.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Public Administration, or related field and two (2) years of business outreach experience, including one (1) year of experience in a progressively responsible lead or supervisory capacity and some customer service experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Accounting knowledge is preferred. Valid Florida Driver's License required. Must pass background check which includes a polygraph.

    If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:
    • Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
    • Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
    • Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
    • Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
