    POSITION AVAILABLE

    EMPLOYER NAME: County of Solano

    POSITION LOCATION: Fairfield, CA

    POSITION AVAILABLE: IT Analyst IV (Business Intelligence Report Developer)

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related position.

    DESCRIPTION: Participate in the creation and maintenance of data exchange between systems. Install, customize, and maintain database software. Oversee the collection, storage, and organization of data. Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights. Develop and maintain systems that integrate data from different sources. Implement and maintain security measures to protect sensitive data. Monitor the performance of data systems and resolve technical issues. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes. Collaborate with other IT professionals, data scientists, and business users. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in data engineering.

    SKILLS REQUIRED:
    • 5 years of experience with data wrangling techniques to clean and structure large datasets.
    • Ability to write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
    • Ability to develop interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
    • Ability to translate complex data insights into clear visual insights to support business decisions.
    • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and tailor visualizations to end-user needs.

    RATE OF PAY: $12,528.86 per month
