Duties, Functions and Responsibilities: Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following. Other related duties may be assigned.
- Directs and oversees the implementation and performance management of various functions, processes, performance enhancements, short- and long-range business plans/goals/objectives, etc. for multiple maintenance division/areas.
- Oversees and manages managerial level personnel who are responsible for ensuring maintenance divisions/areas operate efficient and effectively.
- Develops, directs, evaluates, improves, and promotes the Business Plan for the division.
- Oversees and manages divisional involvement in capital improvement project deliverables.
- Collaborates and participates in the strategic planning process for the department.
- Organizes, coordinates, and implements crisis management response plans and operations with various agencies.
- Develops, manages, and monitors operating budgets for multiple maintenance divisions/areas..
- Performs contract management, negotiation, and procurement duties and responsibilities, i.e., approval/denial of recommendations for purchases, monitoring of purchases, etc.
- Liaisons with an array of City departments, consultants, contractors, business managers, and governmental agencies.
- Conducts presentations to advisory boards, County/State/Federal officials, vendors, contractors, and the general public.
- Ensures compliance with governmental regulations, ordinances, directives, etc.
- Exhibits exceptional customer service, establishes and maintains working relationships, and utilizes analytical and problem-solving techniques and skills.

Serving as the central authority for integrating asset reliability, strategic procurement, and materials management, the role ensures end-to-end accountability for asset lifecycle performance. Primary duties include leading Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) modernization for predictive maintenance, overseeing high-value aviation procurement compliant with federal standards, and evolving inventory programs to ensure operational resilience for mission-critical infrastructure.
1.Asset Management Frameworks: Experience applying ISO 55000 or equivalent standards to complex, 24/7 airport infrastructure.
2.Reliability Assessment: Expertise in Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to optimize system uptime.
3.EAM/CMMS Mastery: Proficiency in IBM Maximo or similar systems to drive data-informed replacement and predictive maintenance strategies.
