Responsibilities
About the role
The Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Division is responsible for maintaining and supporting PeopleSoft Human Resources, Benefits, Pension, and Recruitment Modules. The Division assists employees in better managing information to achieve their business objectives by handling module-specific concerns, administering functional security, documenting business processes, providing functional requirements for system customizations, coordinating project team activities during system upgrades, testing, ad-hoc reporting, resolving help desk tickets, and training development and deployment.
As an HRIS Analyst (HR Specialist), you will assist the HRIS Team in managing and maintaining our HR Information System (PeopleSoft) and support the transition to Workday. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with HR, IT, and other departments to ensure data integrity, troubleshoot issues, and support the continuous improvement of HR processes through technology.

Qualifications
REQUIRES: - An accredited Bachelor's degree and 1 year of developing and administering an organization's human resources programs which may include compensation, benefits, recruitment, organizational employee development, employee and labor relations, equal opportunity, retirement, and/or HR information systems
- OR high school graduation and 5 years within an public or private human resources department administering and interpreting an organization's human resources programs which may include compensation, benefits, recruitment, organizational employee development, employee and labor relations, equal opportunity, retirement, and/or HR information systems.
- Must possess a valid State -issued driver's license in accordance with the City of KCMO policies.
- Preference given to those with PeopleSoft and/or Workday experience, and/or experience working in HR as an HRIS Analyst.
