JOB SUMMARYThe Town of Prosper is currently seeking qualified and dedicated individual
for the position of:
Erosion Control Inspector Hiring Salary Range: $49,412.01 - $56,823.81 Retirement Benefits (TMRS), 2-to-1 Match Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits Effective Within the First 35 days of Employment Flex Scheduling Opportunities Tuition Reimbursement Wellness Benefits Training & Continuing Education Opportunities Qualifications: Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
•High School Diploma or equivalent.
•One (1) year of experience in the field of storm water management, construction inspection, or relatedfield; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified inspector in erosion and sediment control, or the ability to obtain within six (6) months of employment.
• Must pass a MVR check and criminal background check.
• Must possess valid Texas Class C driver’s license.
The Erosion Control Inspector inspects construction and residential sites to ensure proper installation and maintenance of erosion control Best Management Practices (BMPs) in compliance with local, state, and federal stormwater pollution prevention requirements. The position reports to the Stormwater Administrator and the Assistant Director of Development Services.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED
- Receives direction and supervision from the Stormwater Utility Administrator (SWUA).
- No supervision is exercised.
