The Role:The Editorial Content Manager serves as the day-to-day editor of LVCVA’s editorial content team, leading the storytelling efforts that champion Las Vegas as a world-class destination and support the organization’s broader business objectives. This role is responsible for scheduling and assigning written and visual content across LVCVA’s owned websites, while also contributing directly as a writer and editor — producing clear, compelling content that resonates with our key audiences.

Editorial Strategy & Planning
- Own and manage the editorial calendar for VisitLasVegas.com, VegasMeansBusiness.com, and other LVCVA websites, maintaining a consistent, high-quality content pipeline.
- Develop and pitch story concepts with the Director of Editorial Content that authentically represent Las Vegas and advance destination storytelling goals.
- Analyze website performance with the Digital Marketing team and convert insights into clear editorial strategies.
Content Creation & Editing - Write and edit articles, features, and other web content for LVCVA’s digital properties as needed.
- Produce content for newsletters, presentations, video scripts, published reports, and other projects.
Freelancer Management - Assign, brief, and direct freelance writers, set expectations and deadlines, and edit their work to meet LVCVA voice and quality standards.
- Serve as the primary editorial contact for freelancers, deliver constructive feedback, and build strong working relationships.
Assets, Reporting & Publishing - Source, organize, and deliver visual assets that support website and special publication content.
- Gather quarterly goals and performance updates from internal departments and synthesize them into polished summaries for leadership and Board presentations.
- Publish and maintain content within LVCVA’s website content management systems.
What We’re Looking For:- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Creative Writing, Journalism, or a related field, or high school diploma (or equivalent) plus 4 additional years equivalent job-related experience.
- 3+ years relevant and meaningful experience in print and/or digital publishing, content management, or a comparable role in the media industry. A portfolio of bylined work is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Las Vegas as a destination, including existing relationships with resort partners, is a significant plus.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and voice across content types and audiences.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, moving them efficiently from concept to publication.
- Demonstrated collaboration across teams and functions in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word; experience with Adobe InDesign and website CMS platforms is preferred but not required.
- Openness to learning new technologies and applying transferable skills across evolving media formats.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
