    The Role:
The Editorial Content Manager serves as the day-to-day editor of LVCVA’s editorial content team, leading the storytelling efforts that champion Las Vegas as a world-class destination and support the organization’s broader business objectives. This role is responsible for scheduling and assigning written and visual content across LVCVA’s owned websites, while also contributing directly as a writer and editor — producing clear, compelling content that resonates with our key audiences.

    What You’ll Accomplish:
Keep in mind that this list is not all-inclusive.

    Editorial Strategy & Planning
    • Own and manage the editorial calendar for VisitLasVegas.com, VegasMeansBusiness.com, and other LVCVA websites, maintaining a consistent, high-quality content pipeline.
    • Develop and pitch story concepts with the Director of Editorial Content that authentically represent Las Vegas and advance destination storytelling goals.
    • Analyze website performance with the Digital Marketing team and convert insights into clear editorial strategies.
    Content Creation & Editing
    • Write and edit articles, features, and other web content for LVCVA’s digital properties as needed.
    • Produce content for newsletters, presentations, video scripts, published reports, and other projects.
    Freelancer Management
    • Assign, brief, and direct freelance writers, set expectations and deadlines, and edit their work to meet LVCVA voice and quality standards.
    • Serve as the primary editorial contact for freelancers, deliver constructive feedback, and build strong working relationships.
    Assets, Reporting & Publishing
    • Source, organize, and deliver visual assets that support website and special publication content.
    • Gather quarterly goals and performance updates from internal departments and synthesize them into polished summaries for leadership and Board presentations.
    • Publish and maintain content within LVCVA’s website content management systems.

    What We’re Looking For:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Creative Writing, Journalism, or a related field, or high school diploma (or equivalent) plus 4 additional years equivalent job-related experience.
    • 3+ years relevant and meaningful experience in print and/or digital publishing, content management, or a comparable role in the media industry. A portfolio of bylined work is strongly preferred.
    • Familiarity with Las Vegas as a destination, including existing relationships with resort partners, is a significant plus.
    • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and voice across content types and audiences.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, moving them efficiently from concept to publication.
    • Demonstrated collaboration across teams and functions in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word; experience with Adobe InDesign and website CMS platforms is preferred but not required.
    • Openness to learning new technologies and applying transferable skills across evolving media formats.
    • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
    • All LVCVA Ambassadors are expected to demonstrate “Do the Right Thing”, “Vegas for All”, and “Be Extraordinary” by acting with integrity, fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment, and delivering exceptional service in everything they do.
