The Role: The Building Automation Systems Specialist will focus on software and controls programming, hardware testing and troubleshooting, and daily operational monitoring of various computer-controlled and IT network building control systems. The position requires application of technical knowledge and experience to report, automate, and control the various building systems to ensure all are functioning properly. What You’ll Accomplish: Keep in mind that this list is not all-inclusive. Automate and control the various building systems, including but not limited to: HVAC, Lighting, Creston, Audio, Electric Power Monitoring, Elevators/Escalators, UPS, etc. Integrate multiple building systems into iBMS. Create, test, and modify intuitive graphical user interfaces for iBMS and Crestron control systems. Interpret sequence of operations and modify iBMS and controller code as needed. Create and maintain documentation on all network and iBMS system components. Program, diagnose, interpret, and repair a variety of complex electronic, lighting or digital control systems and integration protocols with TCP/IP, BACnet/IP, LonWorks, Modbus, ETC Concert, etc. Work with members of the building engineering teams and associated contractors to ensure proper system operation.
