Position Summary: Responsible for the successful management of technology projects that are comprised of cross-functional teams of technical and business professionals, including 3rd-party vendors and contractors. The IT Project Manager will manage projects from concept to completion and drive project performance to deliver on time and on budget while managing scope, risks, and issues. This includes ensuring resource availability and allocation; developing a detailed project plan to monitor and track project progress; managing changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques; measuring project performance using appropriate tools and techniques; communicating and documenting to the project team, stakeholders, sponsors, steering committees, and all levels of management project status, issues, and successes.
Job RequirementEducation/Experience:Equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Public Administration, Finance, or a closely related field and must also have practical hands-on experience managing and delivering IT projects on-time and on-budget using structured methodology and standard project management tools and techniques.
Licensing/Certification Requirements:Project Management Professional Certification
Additional Position RequirementsCandidates who document the following preferred requirements/qualifications in their application will receive preference in consideration:- Experience leading large complex construction/move projects within an acute care hospital (or similar setting)

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Physical RequirementsKnowledge of: Project management techniques and tools and experience using project management software; scope, time, quality, cost and risk management; operational principles and concepts related to the department or functional area to which assigned; principles and practices of budget development and administration; principles and practices of change management; project management and analytical techniques; software life-cycle methodology; applicable laws, codes and regulations; standard office practices and procedures; records management principles and practices; computer applications related to the work; techniques and procedures for administrative and business applications; correct business English, including spelling, grammar and punctuation; departmental policies and procedures; applicable hospital and department safety practices and standards and techniques; patient rights; infection control policies and procedures; handling, storage, use and disposal of hazardous materials; department and hospital emergency response policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:Mobility to work in a typical office setting and use standard office equipment, stamina to remain seated and maintain concentration for an extended period of time, vision to read printed materials and a VDT screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. Exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or an eligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
