We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our high-performing technical team in Reston, VA. In this role, you will architect, design, and implement innovative cloud solutions that harness the full potential of modern cloud technologies. You will build secure, scalable cloud infrastructures and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, optimized performance, and the efficient delivery of mission-aligned capabilities. Responsibilities: * Analyze and decompose requirements to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architectures aligned with mission objectives
    * Lead the design and implementation of advanced cloud solutions with a strong emphasis on resilience, performance, and industry-standard security practices
    * Evaluate and adopt emerging cloud technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve system capabilities and enhance performance
    * Develop and enforce cloud governance strategies ensuring compliance with applicable standards, regulatory requirements, and security frameworks
    * Oversee automation of deployment, monitoring, and operational workflows to reduce manual effort and increase system efficiency
    * Create, manage, and secure cloud-based operating system images across multiple classification domains using AWS AMIs
    * Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to support integration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and lifecycle maintenance
    * Promote collaboration, mentorship, and continuous knowledge sharing across technical teams Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
    * US citizenship with active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph required
    * 5+ years of experience designing, deploying, and maintaining advanced cloud solutions
    * Demonstrated expertise in AWS environments supporting multiple classification domains (e.g., IL5 to IL6+)
    * Proficiency with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and EBS
    * Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
    * Proficiency managing and securing Linux and Windows Server systems in production environments
    * Hands-on scripting experience using Python and Bash for cloud automation
    * Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and implementation of advanced security controls
    * Experience supporting operational environments, managing ticket queues, and leveraging knowledge bases for issue resolution
    * Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical topics to diverse audiences
    * Active CompTIA Security+ or equivalent 8140/8570 certification (valid for at least one year)
