Job Overview: The Guard House Courtesy Officer is a key member of the property management team. The Courtesy Officer provides superior customer service, possesses detailed knowledge of Company policy and procedures, and performs essential functions as theyrelate to the accessibility of the property. Must be professional and possess excellent customer service, presentation and communication skills. The Courtesy Officer has the competency and intrapersonal skills to work independently with minimal direct supervision, think critically to resolve problems, and manage multiple, competing priorities effectively and efficiently. Detailed-oriented and attentive to the needs of residents and guests.
Your Responsibilities: - Demonstrates a professional and service-oriented demeanor. Provides superior customer service and presentation skills that effectively represent a luxury residential community.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and time management skills.
- Personally welcomes and directs residents, guests and invitees who arrive to the property, per the required standards.
- Manages and controls access to the property.
- Controls traffic flow (both ingress and egress) during events and as requested.
- Maintains daily activity logs, records and forms to pass-on and for management to review.
- Assists in investigations and tape/log reviews for any unusual incidents.
- Monitors Emergency Response System. Monitors and controls Electronic Security Control Systems.
- Responds to emergency situations in a timely and efficient manner, according to Company policies and procedures. Contacts EMS when necessary.
- Efficiently handles/resolves complaints and any crisis management.
- Adheres to all standard operating procedures and Company policies, including safety policies and procedures.
- Ensures that Guard House is kept safe, secure, organized and clean.
- Reports to work as scheduled and on time.
- Works with the Supervisor when unable to fulfill shift responsibility to secure coverage.
- Assists with other duties as needed and directed
Skills - Qualifications: Education/Training: High school diploma or equivalency preferred. College level courses in business or hospitality preferred.
Experience/Knowledge: Two (2) to three (3) years of customer service experience preferred.
Computer literacy: Basic command of Microsoft Office, basic command of information system hardware/software is preferred. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Compensation: $20 - $23 / hour
