    Junior Marine Technician - Full-time, Year Round

    Are you looking to develop and grow your skills as a technician? This PAID apprenticeship program will allow you to learn new skills and get certified with companies such as Volvo Penta, Mercruiser, Indmar, Yamaha, Cobalt Boats, and Malibu Boats.

    Compensation: $21.30-$23/hour DOE + Junior Technician Bonus'

    Location: Bellevue (Newport)

    What You'll Be Doing:
    • Become knowledgeable of all our product lines, new and used
    • Work side by side with a Senior Technician to learn processes and procedures
    • Become competent on boat maintenance and repairs
    • Maintain clean and organized facilities and equipment
    • Effectively and efficiently implement work procedures
    • Work in unison with the Service Manager, Service Consultant, and the Parts Department
    • Document all customer repair needs on work orders with the guidance of the Senior Tech
    What We're Looking For:
    • Required:
      • 18 years of age or older
      • Ability to provide driving abstract and have a valid driving license.
      • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check
      • Want to learn and grow technician skills
      • Self-motivated, well organized, and maintain a high attention to detail
      • Work well alone or with a team
      • Strong work ethic with ability to take direction, learn, and deliver excellent results
      • Basic computer skills
    • Strongly Recommended:
      • We would ideally like to find someone with some mechanical experience/ background so that the mechanic can do an expedited version of the Junior Tech Program (ideally ~6 months-1 year depending on aptitude)
      • Boating experience - a general love for being on and around the water
      • Obtained Washington boating license, or willingness to get one if needed
