Summary
Allied Universal - - Responsibilities: Provide customer service to visitors, patients, staff, and/or the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government healthcare location.; Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.; Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, waiting areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.; Monitor access points and help to verify that only authorized individuals enter restricted areas, following visitor procedures and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.; Support a professional environment by providing directions, assisting with de-escalation when appropriate, and reporting hazards, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to site leadership.
