    Job Description

    Rogers Group Inc. is currently seeking Traffic Control Flaggers with experience for the Huntsville, AL / North Alabama operations area, Alabama SMA reporting to the Milling & Traffic Superintendent. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability tolead safety, quality, and revenue generation throughout our existing operations and additional operations through growth.

    Job Details:
    • Wages start at $22.00hr, starting wage based on experience.
    • Fulltime/Permanent
    • Day Shift ($3 Night Shift Premium for all night shift work)
    • Weekend work may be required
    • Overtime available along with extensive medical and retirement benefits
    Job Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for setting up lane closures on high traffic projects in accordance with MUTCD regulations and at the direction of Traffic Control Coordinator.
    • Help manage and direct the flow of traffic using stop/slow paddles, hand signals, and flags in accordance with trained procedures.
    • Operate TMA Truck - driving to and from work site and manning vehicle at the entry to lane closures.
    • Assist the construction and paving crew with labor tasks as needed.
    Qualifications:
    • Must be dedicated to working safely at all times.
    • Experience preferred working road construction in high traffic areas.
    • Preference given to current ATSSA Traffic Control Technician Certification holders.
    • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and nights when necessary.
    • Team player.
    • Willing to be trained to flag/regulate traffic in accordance with MUTCD guidelines.
    • Willing to assist crew with manual labor duties, as needed.
    • Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
