The Solano County Mosquito Abatement District (SCMAD) is seeking an innovative and dynamic leader to serve as its next District Manager!

This is an exceptional opportunity for a collaborative public sector professional who is passionate about environmental stewardship, public health, and organizational leadership. Serving a diverse 909-square-mile region, SCMAD plays a critical role in protecting communities through advanced mosquito and vector control strategies.

As District Manager, you’ll lead district operations, guide strategic initiatives, work closely with an engaged Board of Trustees, and serve as the face of the organization throughout the community and region. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in team development, operational excellence, and mission-driven service.

• Salary: $170,000 – $190,000 DOE
