Technical SETA SME - Quantum page is loaded## Technical SETA SME - Quantumlocations: US - MD, Bethesdatime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: 39713**Job Family:**Research Physicists (PHY)**Travel Required:**Up to 10%**Clearance Required:**Active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph**What You Will Do:**The objectives of the Technical SETA are to assist with the coordination, monitoring, communication, and integration of all technical aspects of the Program lifecycle that includes:* Attend meetings, workshops, conferences and testing events as a Subject Matter Expert* Assist with the development of presentations such as Program Management Reviews* Serve as a Liaison between Performers, Test & Evaluation contributors, Government and Transition partners* Review, provide analysis, and make recommendations concerning technical reports, data and Performer approaches* Select, establish, curate, and maintain collaborative communication, issue tracking, and configuration environments for use by the program* Provide reach-back support for program related requirements for systems integration, design, development, modeling and simulation, data analytics and architecture design* Examine data sources and literary sources for emerging technology related to the Program* Provide technical support and expertise on new concepts beyond the Program but integral to the Program's success**What You Will Need:*** An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TS/SCI Federal or DoD security clearance with a polygraph* Bachelors' degree in physics, applied physics, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a closely related technical field* FOUR (4) or more years of experience involving quantum information science, quantum device physics, quantum sensing, quantum system modeling, and/or quantum control techniques* TWO (2) or more years of experience with laboratory characterization or test platforms relevant to quantum systems, such as cryogenic test environments, optical/laser-based measurement systems, RF/microwave measurement tools, or qubit/device characterization setups* TWO (2) or more years of experience managing a multi-disciplinary research and development (R&D) or Test and Evaluation (T&E) team, including creating program plans, work breakdown structures, and milestone schedules**What Would Be Nice To Have:*** Masters' degree or PhD in physics, applied physics, electrical engineering, computer engineering, quantum information science, or closely related fields* FOUR (4) or more years of experience with scientific and experimental programming languages/tools such as Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, or languages used in quantum research (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)* TWO (2) or more years of experience with machine learning, optimization, signal processing, or statistical techniques relevant to quantum system characterization, noise mitigation, or control* TWO (2) or more years of experience in the Intelligence Community (IC), including experience with requirements, CONOPS, and transition* Awareness of supply chain, security, and reliability considerations for quantum technologies and supporting hardware* FOUR (4) or more years of experience managing a multi-disciplinary research and development (R&D) or Test and Evaluation (T&E) team* ONE (1) or more years of experience as a Project Manager or Deputy Project ManagerThe annual salary range for this position is $100,100.00-$150,400.00.
