Job Overview NSI requires an Intermediate Cost Analyst/Engineer to support the NAVAIR Cost & Schedule Analyst Program. The role involves working as part of an integrated product team, collaborating with engineers and logisticians to formulate system cost estimates used in developing, delivering, and sustaining training systems and training ranges.Key Responsibilities Perform detailed cost analysis of large contractor proposals.Create MIL-STD-881 compliant cost models and analyze existing models to incorporate updates.Provide total cost support to the Government customer, including budget drills and other cost modeling as required.Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.Experience: 3–10 years in operations research or cost analysis within the DoD or related environments.Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (regression, pivot tables, complex functions and references).
