Our New York City immigration law firm is seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney with strong, demonstrated PERM expertise. The ideal candidate will manage a high‑volume docket of employment‑based cases and work closely with clients, paralegals, and firm leadership to ensure high‑quality representation.ResponsibilitiesHandle a high‑volume caseload involving H‑1B, TN, E‑3, L‑1, PERM, I‑140, I‑485, and EB‑1 (EA and OR) matters, with a strong emphasis on PERM strategy, drafting, recruitment review, and audit responses.Manage and supervise 2‑3 paralegals at varying skill levels, providing guidance, training, and quality review.Conduct detailed case intake with clients, identify issues, troubleshoot challenges, and establish strategic plans tailored to each case.Review case documents, analyze eligibility, and prepare filings for USCIS and the Department of Labor.Draft complex Requests for Evidence, Motions to Reopen, Appeals, and DOL audit responses, including PERM audits and supervised recruitment documentation.Maintain ongoing communication with corporate clients and foreign nationals regarding case strategy, requirements, timelines, and next steps.Utilize case management and reporting systems to track progress, update records, monitor deadlines, and generate reports as needed.Participate in client webinars, training sessions, and on‑site meetings when required.Collaborate with internal teams, sharing updates, aligning workflows, and maintaining consistency with firm and client expectations.Engage in continuous training to stay current on evolving immigration regulations, procedures, and best practices across NIV and IV matters.RequirementsStrong, hands‑on PERM experience is required.Minimum 3 years of employment‑based immigration experience in a high‑volume setting.Bar admission required (NewYork preferred).Demonstrated experience supervising paralegals or legal support staff.Excellent writing, analytical, and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.Proficiency with immigration case management systems and related technology.Strong communication skills and comfort interacting directly with corporate clients and foreign nationals.#J-18808-Ljbffr
