From there, management positions include Assistant Wardens and Wardens. Correctional Officers can join special teams such as Rapid Response Teams, Crisis Response Team, Interdiction Units, K-9 Units, and many other special team opportunities.Compensation$22 Hourly as a Trainee, $23.14 Hourly as a Certified Correctional OfficerMinimum QualificationsBe at least 18 years of age (no maximum age restriction)Be a United States CitizenPossess a high school diploma or equivalentPossess a valid drivers licenseNot have been convicted of any felony or of a misdemeanor involving perjury or a false statement, nor have received a dishonorable discharge from any of the Armed Forces of the United States.
