Job Details
Specific Job Functions:
- Maintain strict confidentiality for the company when conducting observations and investigations.
- Answer multi-line telephones, take messages or direct to appropriate areas.
- Operate CCTV / digital recording programs to conduct surveillance.
- Use computer and associated hardware to complete documentation.
- Write and prepare daily reports and logs.
- Observe and document all marker redemptions.
- Review video and document specific slot and table games jackpots, procedure errors, guest complaints, and variances in all departments.
- Conduct routine surveillance filming, review videos, and complete documentation to detect suspicious activity throughout casino -gaming areas and restricted areas such as casino cage.
- Maintain evidence by archiving video coverage in their designated files.
- Monitor the activities in the table games, race & sports, casino cage, soft count, and slots areas.
- Testify in court as a representative for the company as necessary.
- Perform and maintain shift scheduled duties.
- Interface with management and departments throughout the property as needed.
- Cooperate with the Gaming Control Board (GCB) and other outside agencies.
- Attend all company sponsored training classes and assist with department training.
- Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department.
Qualifications:
- 2 years' experience in a Surveillance department preferred.
- Knowledge of a minimum of four table games preferred.
- At least one card counting system preferred.
- Knowledge of gaming regulations required.
- A working knowledge of all areas observed including policies, procedures, cheating methods, and advantage play systems for all departments is required.
- High school diploma required.
- Must have or be able to obtain a gaming registration.
- Must be able to reach, sit, carry/lift and push/pull up to 10 lbs.
- Must be able to work in a casino environment with possible exposure to extreme cold.
