Department SummaryThe Aviation and Technology Department at San José State University offers a Bachelor of Science in Aviation (BS Aviation), a Master of Science in Quality Assurance (MSQA), and four major tracks—Professional Flight, Aviation Management, Flight Operations, and Maintenance Management. Industry experience is highly desirable.Knowledge of the subject matter of the assigned discipline.Evidence of satisfactory achievement in prior academic work.CompensationSalary placement is based on qualifications and experience. Anticipated monthly salary rates for full‑time AY faculty are:L‑A / Range2 – $5,507–$5,959L‑B / Range3 – $6,221–$7,481L‑C / Range4 – $6,825–$9,431L‑D / Range5 – $8,593–$10,347Rates are monthly; the full‑time annual salary equals the monthly rate times 12.
