Reverse Engineer (TS/SCI with Polygraph required)

A day in the lifeAs a Reverse Engineer, you will support a large mission focused team of software, systems and security engineers in the development and deployment of tools to be used for the greater good.Responsibilities also include, but are not limited to:Doing epic stuff as you embrace your unconventional thought processesHave a passion for finding the needle in the stack of needlesProvides design ideas for new capabilities or recommendations for improvements to existing capabilities.Communicates status with leadership and customers. Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects.Provides solutions to a variety of complex technical problems. Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming.Ensures software standards are met. Leads the design, development, documenting, testing and debugging of applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.Potentially leads a project developing hardware or software based CNO capabilities, and provides direction to other CNO developers. Plans and conducts assignments, generally involving the larger and more important projects or more than one project.What you bring to the table7+ years of experience as an Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexityKnowledge of multiple programming languages such as C/C++, assembly (e.g., x86, ARM, MIPS), Python, or PERLExperience scripting in various reverse engineering tools such as IDAPro, IDAPython or Ghidra to automate analysisExpert level knowledge of security concepts, networks, device drivers, & system internals are applied in daily tasksExpert knowledge in at least one technology area (e.g., Windows, Unix, Mobile, Network devices)Software Analysis/Reverse Engineering experienceEmbedded systems development experienceA solid understanding of assembly programming conceptsA Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university OR 4 years of additional software engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degreeAn active US Government TS/SCI security clearance with PolygraphBonus SkillsExperience working with networking (TCP/IP)Python experienceAbility to handle stress and work well under pressureAnalytical and Critical Thinking SkillsThe total packageOur total compensation package was strategically designed with our members in mind with the intention to reward our members for their hard work and commitment to our customers' missions; allow members to share in Red Alpha's success as we continue to grow and expand our footprint; provide long-term career opportunities through stability and internal mobility; and provide the resources our members need to support themselves and their dependents in the form of a robust benefits package.
