Visitor Security Control Specialist

Fort Bragg, North Carolina

ATS is looking for a qualified Visitor Security Control Specialist to support the Special OperationsMission Training Center Facility at Fort Bragg, NC.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute day-to-day physical security operations for the Special Operations Mission Training Center in accordance with Army Physical Security regulations, Fort Bragg policies, and Government security guidance.
  • Coordinate installation security actions by preparing, submitting, tracking, and maintaining Fort Bragg Form 975 requests with the Directorate of Emergency Services (DES), Physical Security Division.
  • Manage access control and personnel accountability, including visitor processing, contractor staff records, access rosters, badge coordination, and enforcement of controlled-area procedures.
  • Maintain security documentation and reporting, ensuring accurate records, logs, and databases related to access control, inspections, incidents, and compliance requirements.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for visitors and supported units, clearly communicating security requirements, providing accurate directions, and delivering professional, customer-focused support in a high-security environment.
  • Utilize security systems and administrative tools, including DISS, Microsoft Office Suite, and other authorized databases, while safeguarding sensitive and personally identifiable information.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma.
  • One year of experience in physical security activities.
  • Knowledge of Army Physical Security policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of customer service practices and principles.
  • Strong computer and Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Ability to manage information of Contractor staff.
  • Understand effective customer services orientation.
  • Great attention to detail. Ability to provide accurate directions and information to visitors.
  • Completed Defense Information Systems for Security (DISS) training and required certifications for user account access ability.

SPECIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledge of concepts and theories of Physical Security programs, principles and practices used to review, analyze, and resolve physical security issues.

Personnel work closely with military leadership, government representatives, contractors, and visiting units, often in a dynamic environment with frequent schedule changes, after-hours requirements, and surge operations. The position requires strict adherence to Army physical security policies, discretion when handling sensitive information, constant attention to detail, and a strong customer-service mindset while operating within controlled access areas and under Secret-level security clearance requirements.
