DescriptionLeidos is currently interviewing for an Activities-Based Intelligence Analyst (Mid-Level) to join our team in Springfield, VA.The Mid-Level Activities-Based Intelligence Analyst is responsible for supporting the collection, analysis, and dissemination of intelligence derived from the observation and correlation of activities, behaviors, and patterns across multiple domains. This role leverages data trend analysis, advanced analytic techniques, and collaborative intelligence production to deliver actionable insights to multiple offices and mission areas. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and adept at synthesizing complex information into clear, decision-ready products.Key ResponsibilitiesData Trend AnalysisAnalyze large and diverse datasets to identify activity patterns, trends, and anomalies relevant to mission objectivesApply statistical and analytic methods to correlate activities across time, space, and entitiesIntelligence Production SupportContribute to the development of intelligence products, including reports, briefings, and visualizations, based on ABI methodologiesFuse activity-based data with other intelligence sources to provide comprehensive assessmentsEnsure intelligence products meet quality standards and are tailored to stakeholder requirementsMultiple Office Production SupportProvide ABI analytic support to multiple offices and mission areas, coordinating efforts to meet competing prioritiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ABI findings into broader intelligence operationsCollection ManagementSupport the planning and execution of collection strategies to capture relevant activity dataRecommend adjustments to collection priorities based on emerging trends and mission needsAnalytic Tool UtilizationEmploy industry-standard analytic tools and platforms (e.g., Palantir, Analyst Notebook, ArcGIS) to conduct ABI analysisMaintain proficiency in data visualization and analytic software to enhance product qualityBasic Qualifications5+ years of experience in intelligence analysis, preferably with exposure to Activities-Based IntelligenceProficiency in analytic and data visualization tools (e.g., Palantir, Analyst Notebook, ArcGIS, Tableau)Experience conducting trend analysis and supporting intelligence productionStrong written and verbal communication skills, including experience briefing stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple concurrent projects and support diverse mission requirementsActive TS/SCI with willingness to be approved for a PolygraphPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Intelligence Studies, Data Science, Criminal Justice, or a related fieldExperience supporting defense, intelligence, or government organizationsFamiliarity with emerging Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, tools, and methodologies, with an understanding of their applications, implications, and integration into daily geospatial and intelligence workflows.Familiarity with collection management and multi-source fusion techniquesUnderstanding of ABI methodologies and best practicesKey CompetenciesAnalytical Thinking — Identifies and interprets activity patterns and trendsCollaboration — Works effectively across multiple offices and mission areasCommunication — Produces clear, actionable intelligence products and briefingsAdaptability — Manages shifting priorities and supports diverse intelligence requirementsTechnical Proficiency — Utilizes analytic tools and platforms to enhance analysisCommitment to Non-DiscriminationAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to sex, race, ethnicity, age, national origin, citizenship, religion, physical or mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, family structure, marital status, ancestry, domestic partner status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran or military status, or any other basis prohibited by law.
