We are currently seeking an experienced and dependable Dispatcher to become a valued member of our team.

Position Summary

The Dispatcher plays a critical role in coordinating transportation services, supporting field crews, and ensuring transport requests are managed efficiently and professionally. This position requires strong communication, organization, multitasking, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and dispatch transport requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Monitor transportation schedules and ensure pickups and drop-offs are completed as scheduled.
  • Maintain communication with crews and account for unit status throughout the shift.
  • Notify facilities, passengers, or callers regarding delays or schedule changes.
  • Update schedules and transport information in real time throughout the shift.
  • Communicate accurate and timely information to field staff.
  • Resolve operational issues and assist with problem-solving to maintain service efficiency.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and perform customer service-related duties as needed.
  • Maintain professionalism and effective communication with crews, facilities, patients, and callers.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of dispatch experience in EMS or Paratransit required.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to learn dispatching, scheduling, and database systems quickly.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Excel, and Word preferred.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build trust in a team environment.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities required.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • EMT certification preferred but not required.
  • Must maintain a professional attitude, appearance, and commitment to high performance standards.
