This role involves direct case management, strategic legal analysis, and collaboration with senior attorneys to deliver superior defense strategies for our clients.Key ResponsibilitiesCase Management: Manage and oversee workers\' compensation defense cases, including pre-trial investigations, discovery, motions practice, and trial preparation.Litigation Strategy: Develop, implement, and refine litigation strategies in line with the firm's best practices. Work collaboratively with senior attorneys to devise innovative legal strategies and case solutions.Client Interaction: Engage directly with clients to update them on case progress and to understand their objectives. Provide timely and effective legal advice during all stages of litigation.Legal Research and Writing: Conduct comprehensive legal research on relevant issues, including state and federal laws pertaining to workers' compensation. Draft well-researched memoranda, motions, and other legal documents.Courtroom Representation: Appear in court for hearings, motions, and trials, representing clients with professionalism and effective advocacy.Team Collaboration: Collaborate with a diverse team of legal professionals to ensure the highest standard of client service. Mentor junior associates and support staff in case preparation and legal research as needed.QualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.).Licensure: Must be admitted to practice in California.Experience: Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience demonstrating a proven track record of success.
