Paramedic (EMT-P) Emergency DepartmentFast-paced, high-volume Emergency Department is looking for a top skilled Paramedic.Work location: Texas Health Alliance, 10864 Texas Health Trail in Fort Worth, TX 76244.Work hours: Full Time, Night Shift (7p to 5a), 3 shifts, 30 hours per week. Weekend and holiday requirements. Complete benefits available.Department highlights:Self-Scheduling that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growthParamedics work closely with physicians, RNs, respiratory therapy, and ancillary teams as valued members of the interdisciplinary ED care teamHospital-based paramedics function within a defined ED-specific scope of practice, performing advanced clinical skills under direct physician supervision in accordance with Texas Health Resources protocolsRobust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership teamFast-Paced, high-volume department averaging 100 - 200 patients/dayThe professional paramedic exhibits understanding of basic human needs and demonstrates recognition and understanding of patient's affiliations.What You Will DoProvides Safe Patient Care Under Physician Delegation: Administers IV fluid without additives, saline flush, IV antibiotics, all IV medications excluding controlled and RSI medications. ACLS drugs (including drips) using barcode medication verification (BMV) during medication administrations.
